Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is accepting applications for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support established treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will deliver therapy aligned with goals and document patient progress as required by facility policy.

The role emphasizes collaboration with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care, timely progress notes, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist according to goals.
• Provide treatment adhering to specific goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation as required by policy.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
