Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a geriatric clinical setting.

You will provide treatment, document progress weekly, and collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and punctuality. Competitive compensation is offered, along with insurance and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Maintain timely weekly progress notes and documentation.
