Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Glade Valley in Walkersville, MD. You will provide OT services under supervision to help residents improve daily function and independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

You will collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other caregivers, document progress, and tailor treatments to each resident's goals, including ADLs, strength, balance, and

Qualifications

• Active Maryland COTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Help residents improve ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Track resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and safety strategies with residents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work with PT, OT, SLP, nursing and other care team members.
