Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in a full-time and PRN capacity. You will support the OT in planning and delivering therapy to residents, helping them regain independence, and documenting progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates hold a Tennessee COTA license and OTA program graduate, with preferred SNF experience and strong

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee COTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely per facility standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.

Formation

Licensed COTA (Tennessee)

OTA program graduate

Experience in SNF/rehab preferred
