Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under supervision of an OT, you will help patients maximize independence, ADLs, mobility, and functional outcomes in a post-acute SNF setting.

We offer $45.00-$58.00 per hour, full-time with flexible scheduling, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate has a California COTA license, CPR, and strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current California COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the OT.
• Deliver interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, coordination, strengthening, and self-care.
• Assist patients in achieving functional goals and quality of life.
• Monitor progress and report responses to the supervising OT.
• Complete therapy documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing, physicians, and the care team.
• Participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered therapy environment.
