Job summary

ClearSky Health in Elwood, KS is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a team focused on clinical excellence and patient independence. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care, assist with assessments, treatment planning, and document progress.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $31.00/hr, comprehensive medical, dental and vision from day one, 401(k) with company match, mentorship, and no productivity

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Current State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
  • BLS/CPR Certification required.
  • While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.

The Role - What You’ll Do

Our team-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) deliver rehabilitative care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, supporting patient progress, independence, and high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.

Both gross and precise motor functions.

Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.

Possible exposure to bodily fluids.

Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.

Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.

Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
