Qualifications

• Active PA Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an approved OTA curriculum/2-year program.
• Pass NBCOT Certification Examination.
• 24 hours of continued competency for licensure renewal.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute a treatment plan under an occupational therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and ensure treatment tolerance.
• Help residents improve quality of life and independence.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and the interdisciplinary team; provide timely documentation.
