Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma required.
• Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state in which practiced.
• Experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and the community.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists in assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans.
• Maintain productivity as directed by Rehab leadership.
• Help residents develop or regain functioning through programs involving daily living activities and sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities; direct aides and staff.
