Job summary

Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our skilled therapy department. Under an OT supervision, you will implement therapeutic programs, document progress, and encourage residents to regain independence.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekend and holiday rotation, and competitive hourly wages of $40.00–$45.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Assist residents in improving or restoring activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and record residents’ progress during therapy sessions.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
