Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• Must hold current state licensure to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Prior experience in occupational therapy is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Lead or assist patients with therapeutic activities.
