Job summary

PARS Therapy in Dallas, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team in West Dallas. You will help clients develop and maintain daily living and work skills under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The ideal candidate has a COTA certification and experience in home health or rehab, with proficiency in digital documentation and therapy software.

Qualifications

• Active COTA certification required.
• Experience in home health or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiar with Katz ADL and Lawton IADL scales.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and work skills.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Adapt and apply therapeutic interventions to improve safety and independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Educate clients on breaking down tasks and using adaptive strategies.
• Recommend and train on adaptive equipment.
• Document care and track patient progress.
