Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Rutland, Vermont is seeking a COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our occupational therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans focused on strengthening, mobility, and patient independence.

You will document progress, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help patients adapt activities and use assistive devices to improve daily living and functional outcomes.

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on strengthening, mobility, and functional activities.
• Conduct occupational therapy treatments including range of motion, muscle strengthening, and functional activities.
• Utilize assistive devices to enhance patient mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and families on proper use of devices and compensatory strategies to maintain independence.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans and modify plans as needed.
