Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of Valley Health System and Universal Health Services, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to support inpatient rehab and ADL/UE training in a busy hospital setting in Las Vegas. The OTA collaborates with therapists to implement care plans and monitor patient progress.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure requirements for OT support.
Knowledge of ADL/UE objectives and OT treatment principles.
Ability to follow established treatment plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out goal-oriented treatments established by the Occupational Therapist to facilitate maximum level of independence in ADL and UE function in G.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
