Job summary

Wesley Enhanced Living in our community seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents with compassionate, high-quality care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

• Active PA license as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Graduate of an approved OTA program.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Minimum 24 hours of continuing competency for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Monitor patient progress and ensure tolerance.
• Assist residents to improve quality of life.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; document as required.
• Maintain professional development and knowledge of payor sources.
• Uphold residents' rights and professional presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
