You will help residents improve daily living activities through structured therapy activities and exercises, contributing to a holistic care plan.

Requirements include state OTA licensure and, where applicable, NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
• If working at Sanford Health Facility: NBCOT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides, monitors and records services to patients/residents with impairments.
• Selects, implements, and modifies activities to meet goals.
• Exchanges information with and provides documentation to the occupational therapist.
• Knowledgeable about patient outcomes and functional progress.
