• COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with IDFPR certification or proof of application.
• Experience working with children with emotional and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational support during times of confusion and emotional upset.
• Assist in developing and updating IEP goals and progress reports.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as per individual treatment plans.

Job Details

Location: Havana IL Fresh Start Academy

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon-Fri, following a 10-month school calendar

We are hiring COTAs at multiple schools due to increased demand for newly created positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational support during times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
• Assist in developing and updating IEP goals and progress reports for your caseload.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as per individual treatment plans outlined on the IEP.
• Maintain accurate logs of related services weekly and coordinate with staff and teachers as needed or directed by the IEP.

Qualifications

• COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with IDFPR certification or proof of application.
• Ability to work with students with ED, BD, OHI, Autism, TBI, or related needs.
