COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Full-time position for a COTA certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Our clinicians are credentialed to use our system, approved by JCAHO. We offer innovative programs including our older-adult Model of Care, Freedom Through Functionality, and the Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM) program.

Responsibilities:

Perform evaluations, develop and implement effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate, or adapt for loss of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or possess a current license in the state of practice.
• Problem-solving skills necessary for the role.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Professional, positive, and cooperative relationship with patients, families, and staff.
• Regular attendance and compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and physical exam if required.
• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Own transportation for travel between sites.
• Computer skills necessary for specific job duties.
