Powers Health is hiring a full-time COTA for outpatient pediatric occupational therapy in Munster. The role provides direct patient care under an OT supervisor and follows a defined plan of care in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient loads, assisting with supervision of support staff, and contributing to a positive, compliant clinical environment. Benefits are provided as part of our comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited OTA program.
• Indiana Licensure and CPR certification.
• Understanding of billing, compliance, documentation, and supervision of support staff.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Occupational Therapy Assistant is a qualified professional who provides quality patient care under the direction of an evaluating Occupational Therapist and under the general supervision from the therapy supervisor. The Occupational Therapy Assistant has the responsibility of direct patient care rendering occupational therapy treatments according to an outlined plan of care and goals, assists in coordinating assigned patient care loads, and may assist with supervision of non-professional staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• License/Registration/Certification: Indiana Licensure and current CPR certification.
• A basic understanding of federal and state regulations regarding billing, compliance, documentation, and supervision of support staff as they relate to the practice of relevant discipline.
