Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Jacksonville, Florida.

Under an occupational therapist, you will provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments and monitor progress to support treatment goals. The role requires a current COTA license and CPR/BLS certification, with a preference for 1 year of direct rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitors the patient's program and records progress for the occupational therapist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

is a modern, 48-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the greater Jacksonville area. The facility is dedicated to helping patients regain independence following serious illness or injury through individualized rehabilitation programs led by experienced clinical teams. Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy supported by advanced medical oversight. Qualifications
