Job summary

Lewis & Clark College is seeking a part-time Costume Construction and Maintenance Personnel for the Theatre program. You will construct, alter and repair costume pieces by hand or machine, collaborating with the shop team to meet the artistic goals of departmental productions. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4–6 hours per week.

A passion for sewing and costumes is preferred, and federal or Lewis & Clark Work Study is required. Rate of pay is $16.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated passion for sewing, crafts, and costumes.

Responsibilities

• Construct, alter and repair costume pieces either by hand or machine as instructed.
• Collaborate with the shop team to complete the total workload and achieving the artistic goals of the departmental productions.
• Maintain shop supplies, stock and equipment.
• Assist with shop maintenance and restocking.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
