Gallaudet University in Washington, DC is seeking a Costume Designer for fixed-term duties in the School Play program. The designer will create costumes, fit cast members, and collaborate with the technical crew and School Play Advisor.
Responsibilities include collecting and supervising costumes with Performing Arts Specialists, providing feedback to the program, and demonstrating strong management skills while working with high school students who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

All employees hired must undergo and pay for a background investigation if selected for the job and must be cleared before starting the first day on the job. The current fee for the investigation can range from $35 to $135, depending on location. Background Check and SARP must be in good standing.
Compensation: $18.40 per hour
