Responsibilities

• Assist with performing cost segregation and fixed asset studies from start to finish.
• Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to collect information.
• Provide detailed cost analysis of commercial/industrial building projects.
• Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections.
• Analyze construction cost data and design drawings.
• Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources.
• Contribute to the development of the cost segregation practice.

You will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers and tax experts to help our clients identify advantageous classification of assets.

• Assist with performing cost segregation and fixed asset studies from start to finish
• Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Conduct site visits to collect information
• Assist with providing detailed cost analysis of commercial/industrial building projects
• Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections
• Analyze construction cost data and design drawings
• Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources
• Actively contribute to the development of the cost segregation practice

What Skills You’ll Bring

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other relevant fields
• Ability to understand and analyze construction blueprints
• This position requires some local and national travel
