Job summary

Withum is seeking a Cost Segregation Manager to lead engagements across a nationwide client base. The role supports a hybrid schedule with three days in office weekly and can be based in multiple U.S. offices including Princeton, NJ and Whippany, NJ.

You will oversee engagements, mentor teams, and coordinate with leadership to grow the Cost Segregation practice while delivering client value and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 8+ years of cost segregation or related experience.
• CPA/EA/CCSP or similar certification is a plus.
• Proven leadership of cost segregation engagements and depreciation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of IRS cost segregation guidance and depreciation regulations.
• Ability to travel ~25% of year.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse portfolio of cost segregation engagements for various asset types.
• Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor.
• Review technical analyses, engineering reports, and deliverables for IRS compliance.
• Oversee site inspections, cost analyses, and asset classifications.
• Drive practice growth through business development and client relationships.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor staff.
• Manage engagement economics, budgets, staffing, and resources.
• Collaborate with partners on proposals and growth initiatives.
• Participate in client presentations, webinars, and thought leadership.
