Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Cost Price Analyst I to support Sales and Technical teams by preparing accurate quotes for new items using established cost models and pricing tools.

You will handle RFQ processing, validate data, maintain margins, review BOMs and routings, and collaborate with Sales, Technical, Production and Finance to ensure pricing aligns with company guidelines and is clearly documented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• 0–3 years of related experience; manufacturing costing or pricing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of BOMs, routings, and manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process RFQs by entering and validating item specifications in the RFQ system.
• Prepare quotes for new items using established cost models and pricing guidelines.
• Verify quote accuracy in coordination with the Quoting Team and other stakeholders.
• Maintain customer margin requirements per pricing objectives.
• Submit completed quotes for review and approval.
• Review BOMs, routings, and supporting manufacturing information used in quoting.
• Support product costing and pricing activities with accurate data.
• Assist with annual production standard reviews and costing updates.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and pricing-related projects.
• Maintain quotation and pricing documentation; collaborate with Sales, Technical, Production and Finance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Cost Price Analyst I supports Sales and Technical teams by preparing accurate quotes for new items using established cost models and pricing tools. This role focuses on RFQ processing, data accuracy, cost validation, and margin maintenance. The position works closely with the Quoting Team and Finance to ensure pricing information is accurate, complete, and aligned with company guidelines.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Process Requests for Quote (RFQs) by entering and validating item specifications in the RFQ system.
• Prepare quotes for new items using established cost models, templates, and pricing guidelines.
• Verify quote accuracy in coordination with the Quoting Team and other stakeholders.
• Maintain customer margin requirements in accordance with company pricing objectives.
• Submit completed quotes for review and approval.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and supporting manufacturing information used in the quoting process.
• Support product costing and pricing activities by ensuring manufacturing data is accurate and complete.
• Assist with annual production standard reviews and costing updates.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and pricing-related projects as assigned.
• Maintain documentation related to quotations, customer requests, and pricing activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Production, and Finance teams to resolve pricing and costing questions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required. 0–3 years of related experience. Manufacturing, costing, pricing, or quoting experience preferred. Basic understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), production routings, and manufacturing processes preferred.
