Job summary

Cleco Power LLC is seeking a Cost of Service & Tariffs Analyst II to support cost of service studies and rate design with data-driven analysis. You will help develop summary sales data, interval usage data, and stay current on industry rate design trends affecting revenue recovery.

In this role, you will assist in allocating costs, evaluating revenue components, and supporting regulatory initiatives while collaborating with teams to ensure accurate, timely analyses and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Statistics

The Cost of Service & Tariffs Analyst II is an experienced professional with knowledge of and some experience with preparing cost of service studies and rate design. Assists in the development of summary sales data and interval usage data and its integration into the cost of service and rate design. Is current and stays current in industry development of rate design, real time pricing, marginal pricing, and emerging considerations relative to electric vehicle, grid modernization, distributed generation and the impact these have on cost recovery and rates. Assists in identifying drivers of changes in revenue requirements.

• Assists in development of functionalization, classification and allocation of costs to customer classes, as well as for large individual customers

• Assists in maintaining differentiation between revenues collected through standard tariffs and revenue trackers
• Assists in leveraging load research into sales and revenue forecasts
• Provides support and expertise for all relevant regulatory and developmental company efforts
