Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity at our Rahway location for a Senior Financial Analyst – Animal Health Biopharm. You will be part of our Finance Team that integrates cross-company financial insights into strategic and tactical decisions, utilizing advanced techniques for analysis, planning, reporting, and performance evaluation. This role supports the advancement of medical innovation and improves lives!

Key Responsibilities

  • Controlling and reporting on inventory and product costs;
  • Maintaining standard costs in accordance with GAAP;
  • Participating in annual budget cycles for assigned sites/markets;
  • Providing support to global stakeholders;
  • Mentoring junior analysts;

Main Tasks

  • Managing month-end closing activities related to inventory and costs;
  • Collaborating with supply chain, procurement, and commercial teams to set accurate product costs;
  • Partnering with manufacturing and commercial leaders for budget and inventory revaluation;
  • Supporting business queries regarding financial results and accounting guidance;
  • Leading system and reporting improvement projects;
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls;
  • Sharing knowledge with peers and mentoring analysts.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus;
  • BSc or MSc in finance, accounting, or related field; professional certifications are a plus;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in controlling, accounting, or financial planning;
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, BW AFO, Power BI; knowledge of SQL or data analytics is advantageous;
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • Proactive, improvement-oriented, with good project management skills;
  • Experience mentoring junior staff is preferred.
