Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team supporting construction cost services for our clients. We are a global company with over 22,000 specialists across more than 60 countries, known for our innovative, client-focused approach and dynamic culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on strategies, managing vendor prequalification, assessing proposals, bids, and bid leveling documents, and managing the appointment process.
• Developing and reviewing project estimates, presenting to clients, providing value engineering and risk assessments, and benchmarking costs.
• Establishing and reviewing cost reports and forecasts, managing budgets, and hosting project meetings.
• Overseeing cost control processes, reviewing payment applications, change orders, and contractual disputes.
• Monitoring invoicing, conducting final account processes, and post-contract reviews.
• Developing procedures for project handover and utilizing various estimating and take-off software.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is preferred.
• Experience supporting medium to large construction projects, with a preference for construction consultancy experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
