Cost Manager Electrical (Global Capability Center)

Cost Management/Quantity Surveying

As a MEP Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams, fostering a strong social dynamic and shared sense of achievement. In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Senior Cost Managers in drafting proposals and managing submission activities for upcoming projects.
  • Support the team as needed.
  • Partner actively with clients, responding accurately and promptly to their requests, and manage multiple packages within projects.
  • Create estimates and cost plans for MEP packages for key client developments.
  • Support estimation and review of the overall MEP scope of work.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in Cost X and databooks.
  • Manage large teams effectively.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proficient interactions.
  • Have strong knowledge of MEP packages and basic understanding of CSA works.
  • Possess good knowledge of Indian and basic global procurement processes.
  • Handle multiple projects and stakeholders across various time zones.
  • Participate in drafting proposals to clients.
  • Contribute to developing strong client relationships supporting business growth.
  • Lead your team to deliver high-quality work and client value.
  • Approach tasks with innovation and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Lead in preparing Quantification Take Offs for Cost Plans/BoQs.
  • Be proficient in Standard Modes of Measurements.
  • Participate actively in QA/QC plan implementation.
  • Support Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Mentor and train team members and leaders.
  • Foster top performance and growth through excellent leadership and mentorship.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have at least 8 years of cost management experience, especially in global pre-construction works, preferably from a consultancy background, on large-scale projects such as data centers and life sciences.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantification Take Offs.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience working on overseas projects.
  • Have 3+ years of experience with Cost X or equivalent tools like Planswift, Cubicost, Candy, ZW CAD.
  • Can lead, build, and develop a team and establish trusted client relationships.
  • Are chartered or working towards chartership; we can support your path.
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in cost management or construction discipline.
  • Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Enjoy a dynamic environment with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Excel at building strong relationships with teams and clients through shared purpose and openness.
