Job summary

MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking a seasoned Project Management Consultant to support our global client base across industries. You will manage cost plans, schedules, and governance, working with a team to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in PM/Cost management, a bachelor’s degree, and a passion for project delivery. You will thrive in a dynamic consulting environment and contribute to client success.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in Project Management / Cost Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMO and PPM disciplines understood.
  • Certification is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to develop career path within MP.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain cost plans, estimates, forecasts, and monthly cost packages.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure cost feasibility.
  • Provide governance over scope, time, and cost to deliver projects.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams and sustainability advisors.
  • Prepare bid packages and analyze vendor proposals.
  • Provide real-time reporting to stakeholders and manage change orders.

MI-GSO | PCUBED is a consulting firm that focuses solely on Project, Program, and Portfolio Management and Change Management. We work with clients in a variety of sectors such as Financial Services, Energy, Aerospace and Defense, and Automotive. We are looking for someone who is ready to help solve real world problems, who is eager to identify customer needs and develop & execute project plans in order to deliver results . You will provide project and operational oversight through implementation of governance, scope, time, and cost management in order to successfully execute projects.

Every day, we support our clients by steering major Projects and Programs, managing Project Portfolios, improving maturity and efficiency of PM Organizations, and driving business transformation initiatives.

Essential Job Functions
  • Create and maintain cost plans, estimates, forecasts, and monthly cost packages
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure cost feasibility
  • Validate compliance with sustainability and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams and sustainability advisors
  • Ensure accurate financial handover and warranty/O&M budgeting
  • Prepare bid packages and analyze vendor proposals
  • Ensure alignment with cost governance and contract terms
  • Work with procurement teams and vendors to negotiate competitive pricing
  • Advise on sourcing strategies to optimize cost
  • Forecast cash flow and lock in pricing terms
  • Monitor actual costs vs. budget
  • Manage change orders and cost impacts
  • Interface with general contractors and trade contractors for cost control
  • Provide real-time reporting to stakeholders
  • Track consistency usage and perform earned value analysis
  • Schedule, organize, and support project meetings, ensuring required participants are informed and prepared
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with project managers, team members, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress
  • Ensure contracts and POs are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Support preparation and distribution of project reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues
  • Review and approve contractor payment applications (PayApps), ensuring alignment between billed progress and actual work completed.
  • Cost Risk & Contingency: Identify cost risks and actively manage project contingency and mitigation strategies.
Documentation and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with documentation control procedures and log specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records, ensuring information is properly filed, categorized, and searchable.
  • Monitor information workflows to support approvals, reviews, and dissemination.
Reporting and Communication
  • Create and distribute reliable project summaries and status updates on a weekly basis, daily as needed
  • Lead tracking of task lists, deliverables, and follow‑ups to maintain continuous momentum.
WHO ARE YOU?

You have between 5 and 8 years of experience in Project Management / Cost Management. You should have a least a Bachelor’s degree, and a passion for Project Management. You have a good understanding of PMO, Project, Program, and Portfolio Management (PPM) disciplines. Any Project Management Certification is a plus but not essential. Our consultants are the best of the best and have the ability to develop their own career path.
