MIGSO-PCUBED is looking for a passionate and communicative Capital Project Controller to join our team and support our Capital Projects in Energy and Manufacturing engagements in Houston, Texas.

Every day, we support our clients by steering major Projects and Programs, managing Project Portfolios, improving maturity and efficiency of PM Organizations, and addressing business transformation and change management initiatives.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking skilled Project Controllers and Project Engineers to manage and oversee critical aspects of capital projects. These roles are designed for individuals with proven experience in project controls and management within complex project environments. The ideal candidates will have expertise in project scheduling, cost management, and risk & opportunity management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Perform risk and opportunity assessments to mitigate potential issues and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track project performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable reports to senior management.
  • Implement project controls and management strategies in alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.

As a consultant, you will deliver expertise, adapt to new environments, and be able to work within a team. You will represent our brand on client-sites and, thanks to the materials that we provide, you will be prepared to support our engagements. Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in project controls, project management, or engineering roles within capital project environments.
  • Strong experience with Planisware.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost controlling, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale capital projects in energy and manufacturing.
