E&E Manufacturing Co in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Cost Estimator to analyze data and determine time, materials, and labor required to manufacture assemblies and components. You will prepare costed BOMs, analyze quotes, and establish selling prices that meet financial targets.

The role requires at least 5 years in military or automotive environments, strong MS Office and CAD familiarity, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and engineering.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in military and/or automotive environments.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret engineering layouts and data for quoting.
• Experience with sheet metal or fabrication costings.
• Knowledge of welding and metal manufacturing standards.
• Strong analytical skills to estimate costs and margins.
• Effective communication and organization with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Complete costing information and generate costed BOMs.
• Prepare and analyze quotes, determine BOM structure and costs.
• Review labor, material, and NRE estimates; compute P&L and margins.
• Provide cycle time analyses and descriptions of operations.
• Verify RFQ data and perform make-or-buy analyses.
• Prepare and present quote packages to sales and management.
• Collaborate with purchasing to issue RFQs and select suppliers.
