Job summary

A consulting company is seeking a Cost Estimator to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency in financial management efforts focusing on Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution. The ideal candidate will develop cost models, track funding execution, and create presentations for decision-making. A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, cost analysis, and DoD processes is preferred, along with a DOW Clearance: SECRET. This position offers a remote work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Department of Defense Financial Management, cost analysis, cost estimating.
  • Experience building cost models to capture all relevant costs.
  • Knowledge of the POM process and PPBE.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems and financial processes.
  • DOW Clearance: SECRET required.

Overview

N2IA is seeking a Financial Analyst/Cost Estimator that will support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in its financial management efforts, focusing on Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE). This role involves coordination with key stakeholders and the preparation of materials for senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Work with program staff to develop cost models which will capture projected expenditures for different types of activities to include : IT systems deployment, Software Development, Program Execution Functions, etc.
  • Coordinate with the financial operations team to develop dynamic displays and outputs in order to target relevant information outputs to different audiences
  • Coordinate POM cycle efforts and facilitate stakeholder integration.
  • Develop mechanisms and processes to track funding and execution.
  • Develop briefings, information papers, and presentations for decision-making.
  • Conduct financial assessments for program planning.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders on financial planning and execution.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in Department of Defense Financial Management, cost analysis, cost estimating
  • Experience building cost models to ensure all relevant costs are captured, and include program maturity over time
  • Knowledge of the POM process and PPBE.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems and financial processes.
  • Required - DOW Clearance: SECRET
Experience
  • 7+ years preferred in relevant fields.
  • Experience with PowerBI preferred
