Overview

Focus: Specializes in estimating costs, reconciling Schedule of Rates (SORs), and maintaining cost-related documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cost estimation projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability of cost estimates
  • Submit budget requests
  • Maintain cost & budget trackers tracking
  • Approved quantities
  • Unit rates
  • Acceleration costs
  • Maintain approved overtime logs
  • T&M Sheets (rework costs)
  • Star Rates
  • Free Issued Material
  • Incentives
  • Detailed direct and indirect costs
  • Ensure efficiency and adherence to SOPs
  • Maintain accurate project completion progress and estimated completion dates trackers
  • Schedule and attend weekly reconciliation meetings and closeout meetings; with vendors and SAS personnel
  • Maintain and update a historical tool costs tracker
  • Identify any findings or discrepancies and report them to SAS Management
  • MUST HAVE HIGH LEVEL EXCEL SKILLS
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in construction, accounting, or finance is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of estimating experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data functions).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
  • Good organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
