Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Engineering/DTV to lead the IM Cost Engineering center of excellence across multiple locations including Titusville, NJ and other sites worldwide. You will set priorities, drive strategic cost management, and oversee cost engineering digital technologies.

The role requires 15+ years in manufacturing, 5+ years in should-cost modeling, and strong negotiation and analytics skills, with leadership across IM SC, R&D, and procurement partners.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor's in Engineering or Biological Sciences degree is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years work experience in a manufacturing environment with detailed process knowledge across multiple manufacturing technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of practical should cost modeling experience in a manufacturing company.
• An understanding of activity-based cost accounting principles to provide product cost modeling & analytics for procured materials and products, is preferred.
• Requires a broad knowledge of biotechnology, pharma, chemical and / or packaging manufacturing processes.
• Negotiation skills, with the ability to create fact-based rationales.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IM Supply Chain Category Leads to apply cost engineering and value principles in base business and NPDs.
• Set and drive aligned business priorities for the function in support of IM SC and R&D.
• Lead development and governance of IM Cost Engineering cost structures across IM SC categories.
• Project lead for cost engineering initiatives and support deliverables for IM business transformation.
• Develop strategic plans with cross-functional teams to address cost opportunities from cost modeling and supplier transparency.
