Job Overview

Cost Controls Support – Full‑time onsite in Wilson, NC. The position focuses on validating commitments and actuals, reconciling discrepancies, and improving forecast accuracy for the Bio NC project. This role supports cost forecasting, cash‑flow analysis, and Executive Summary Reports to restore trust in cost data.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain on‑site presence at the Bio NC jobsite and coordinate any absences with the Project Controls Manager.
• Learn the J&J cost workbook and Microsoft Excel advanced functions quickly.
• Validate invoiced amounts and segregate them by Capital, Expense, and Business Entity.
• Segregate raised purchase requests and issued purchase orders per established categories.
• Gather cost data for monthly cash‑flow analysis and forecasts.
• Conduct field verification and reconcile invoiced amounts to work‑in‑place.
• Collaborate with a large team and communicate findings clearly.
• Deliver monthly cost reports, Executive Summary Reports, and cash‑flow analysis on schedule.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of project controls experience in biotech/biologics or similar regulated capital projects.
• Experience on $100M+ projects, preferably $150M–$200M.
• Hybrid skill set: office analytics and field verification, with field verification considered critical.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn the established J&J cost workbook rapidly.
• Ability to prepare monthly cost reports and Executive Summary Reports.
• Experience with cost systems such as SAP, EcoSys, or similar.
• Experience with forecasting, cost segregation, variance analysis, and reconciling reported costs with actuals.
• Field‑based verification of cost/progress.

Interview Process

Two‑step interview: a panel interview (3–4 people) followed by a leadership interview (2 people). Feedback is expected within 48 hours.
