Overview

As a Cost Controller with our Americas Engineered Solutions team, you will lead cost control and management activities on complex projects and across product areas, while also identifying, assessing, and implementing value-add opportunities which will improve overall cost/schedule performance. The Engineered Solutions team is a part of our Long Term Operations group, which works collaboratively with customers to apply strategic long-term innovative solutions to enhance operations and extend plant life beyond original design. In this role, you may lead small diverse discipline teams through project phases and may be assigned to several complex projects simultaneously.

You will report to the Manager of Project Controls. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which includes, but is not limited to project baselines and cost projections.

  • Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced, and overall project performance is optimized.

  • Review portfolio costs and provide reports to project management team to ensure cost performance is to plan.

  • Responsible for all aspects of project controls activities including scope, schedule, cost, risk, earned value assessment.

  • Process, monitor, and track changes following an integrated change control process.

  • Prepare project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including estimate at completion updates and earned value management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements.

  • Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status.

  • Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical Discipline.

  • 5+ years experience in project controls. 10+ years preferred.

  • Familiarity with P6 Primavera / MS Project tools and SAP.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200.00 to $129,000.00.
