Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Cost Analyst to assist with cost accounting, inventory analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting during a temporary coverage assignment.

Salary is $70-$80k, DOE. Responsibilities include preparing operational reports, performing inventory reconciliations, conducting cost analyses, and supporting month-end activities within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; relevant cost accounting experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles required.
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience is a plus, not a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports related to efficiency, overtime, and labor hours.
• Perform inventory reconciliations for major components along with balance sheet and account reconciliations.
• Conduct cost analysis and factor studies related to materials and production costs.
• Support month-end activities including journal entry preparation and other accounting support functions.
