Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a contract-based Finance professional in Auburn Hills, MI to validate savings ideas and drive direct material savings. You will work with a cross-functional team to size opportunities, build supplier fact packs, and develop negotiation strategies while ensuring governance and documentation standards are met.

You'll monitor progress toward VCP targets and report status to leadership, leveraging your strong analytics, governance discipline, and MS Office expertise to defend

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing Finance, Product Finance, Vehicle Cost Engineering, Plant Cost Analyst, or a comparable analytical role.
• Proven ability to develop, validate, and defend financial business cases.
• Strong analytical capability, including interpretation of complex data across multiple systems.
• High attention to detail with data accuracy, governance, and process discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel emphasis).
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.77 - $43.77/hr.
