Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a North America Cost Analysis Leader to establish and guide a regional cost analysis team. You will recruit, train, and mentor cost analysts while partnering with engineering, purchasing, and operations to analyze BOMs, labor, overhead, and logistics.

You will drive cost target setting, RFQ cost calculations, and report program profitability across the product lifecycle, translating data into actionable insights for CFO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cost analysis, program finance, or operations finance in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience, with proven success in hiring, mentoring, and managing teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, including BOM, labor, overhead, and logistics.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally internationally and frequently locally.
• Must not require Mobis immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

• Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural, and international business environment
• Experience collaborating with global teams and navigating cultural nuances in communication and business practices highly valued
