RiseMe is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting activities, oversee inventory valuation and COGS, and drive efficiency across finance and operations. The role partners with operations, supply chain, and leadership to support profitability and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience, with strong ERP and Excel skills to manage standard costing and variances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive cost accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of standard cost systems and cost variance analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting functions including inventory valuation and COGS.
• Develop and maintain standard cost systems and processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and compare standard vs actual costs.
• Review and update cost standards for products.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain to analyze production costs and variances.
• Lead month-end/year-end closes related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Support FP&A in forecasts, budgets, and cost control strategies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
