Qualifications
Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Completed coursework in Cost Accounting or Managerial Accounting preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and analyzing production and material cost data.
Support monthly and quarterly cost closing activities.
Help reconcile inventory transactions and verify accuracy of standard costs.
Assist in variance analysis (material, labor, overhead).
Support preparation of cost reports and management dashboards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.
