Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking an Analyst – Cost Accounting in Texas to lead inventory management and material costing activities for multiple shops, including BOM creation and SOX compliance. The role supports month-end closing, audits, and cost-reduction initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree and manufacturing cost accounting experience, with strong Excel and data analytics skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across NAMCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent analytical degree.
• Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience, including cost and usage variance analysis.
• Experience supporting monthly close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional deliverables.
• Experience developing, managing and executing detailed activity schedules.
• Ability to present findings to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Inventory Management and Material costing activities.
• Prepare and maintain bills of materials for assigned shops and ensure SOX compliance.
• Support month-end closing with material movements, journal entries and validations.
• Coordinate and support physical inventories and audits.
• Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and Kaizen.
