Job summary

A leading finance service provider is looking for a Cost Accountant in Columbus, IN, to maintain costing systems, manage budget and forecast data, and ensure accurate cost estimates for new products prior to manufacturing. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and at least three years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Costing required.
• Experience with ERP systems is necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date cost data for existing products.
• Participate in cost reduction efforts and savings initiatives.
• Develop annual budget costing.
• Manage internal/external inventories and cycle counts.
• Review routings and BOMs for accuracy.
• Develop monthly forecasts.
• Track fixed assets and lease management.
• Work with Engineering on the quoting process.
• Track KPIs and report weekly.
