Job summary

Analogic is seeking a Cost Accountant to analyze inventory transactions, manage month-end close, and drive process improvements across finance, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams. You will ensure accurate cost reporting and support internal controls.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost/inventory.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate weekly cycle counts, ensuring annual inventory goals and accuracy.
• Analyze inventory variances (PPV, work orders) and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile consigned inventory accounts with third parties to maintain integrity of assets.
• Lead the annual STD cost roll with accurate execution.
• Support IT initiatives and system improvements to streamline processes.
• Assist with quarterly E&O reporting and reviews.
• Support year-end audits and respond to inventory-related inquiries.
• Engage in special projects to grow expertise.
