Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a Cost Accountant III to lead month-end and year-end close for cost of goods sold, analyze variances, and forecast costs for new and existing products. The role emphasizes accuracy in ERP costing data and supporting management with detailed cost analyses.

The candidate should have 5+ years in accounting or finance, with a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related advanced degree. Hybrid/onsite environment with strong internal controls and ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analyst, or similar position.
• OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• OR (3) years of experience may be considered with a Masters Degree.

Responsibilities

• Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes for cost of goods sold
• Perform cost-variance analyses to optimize cost savings
• Analyze and compare the cost of new products to existing products with forecasting and budget planning
• Complete month-end journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold
• Develop and maintain tools for labor costing and exception cleanup
• Assist in the coordination of the annual physical inventory
• Analyze and combine multiple data sets of varying formats and prepare reports for management
• Assist in the accumulation of program costs and estimation of costs at completion
