A manufacturing company in Oshkosh is seeking a Cost Accountant II responsible for managing financial transactions related to inventory and costs. The role involves analyzing costs, preparing financial reports, and partnering with various departments to identify cost savings opportunities. Candidates should have a degree in finance or accounting and at least 5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing. A strong background in Excel and ERP systems is required.
Primary Purpose Of The Role: The Cost Accountant II is responsible for the accuracy of financial transactions for inventory, materials, labor and overhead costs. This requires completing reporting and analysis for weekly, month-end, and adhoc needs. This position is expected to thoroughly understand the production capabilities and expectations of the facility. Responsibilities include efficiently managing and tracking cost of goods sold including identifying and facilitating cost savings opportunities to drive results.
