Job summary

Foxconn Group in Houston is seeking a Cost Accountant to monitor and report all cost activities. You will perform month-end close, prepare related journal entries, and reconcile accruals for balance sheets. Strong Excel, analytical thinking, and ERP experience are essential.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Accounting and at least 2 years in general accounting. Bilingual English/Chinese is required. This is a full-time on-site role with growth in cost analysis and inventory valuation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience.
• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end cost accounting close.
• Prepare cost-related journal entries at month-end.
• Reconcile and record accruals and adjustments for balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze material and labor costs for standard cost updates.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Inventory Revaluation and Purchase Price Variance claims.
• Extract and analyze information to support quotes for operations.
• Generate cost reports and assist in quarterly price planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
