Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with SAP or NetSuite preferred.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and quick to learn new systems.
• Ability to work independently within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing accounting: support inventory accounting, work-in-process (WIP), standard costing, work orders, and variance analysis.
• Account reconciliations: perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, assist with SAP opening balance cleanup, and review NetSuite transactions.
• Month-end close: prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and fixed asset accounting.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with additional accounting projects and cleanup activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Accounting: Support inventory accounting, work-in-process (WIP), standard costing, work orders, and variance analysis.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, assist with SAP opening balance cleanup, and review transactions within NetSuite.
• Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and fixed asset accounting.
