Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Cost Accountant

SS&PF is a locally owned business originated in 1976 and located NSL Utah. Our plant consists of 18 acres and includes 100,000 square feet of production area. With over 100 teammates and an annual revenue of $35M we fabricate simple and complex projects for the Western US industrial market.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s job costing process. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Finance and Project Management team in successfully managing the financial functions of all projects including accounts receivable, accounts payable, project cash flow, and project financial closeout.

Compensation $70K - $110K DOE.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain customer accounts and projects in ERP system.
• Monitor commitments, ensure accuracy and sync through ERP to accounting software, and manage document retention in company files.
• Review all Change Orders.
• Assure thorough and timely billing of a project.
• Assist with job closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent 5 years of job costing experience
• Commercial Construction experience in accounting preferred
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
