Job summary

The Genuine Search Group is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support manufacturing financial operations through cost accounting, inventory management, and detailed analysis. You will own standard costing, inventory valuation, and month-end close activities, while ensuring SOX controls are followed.

Responsibilities include developing standard costs, managing reconciliations and variances, and delivering reports to aid strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances, WIP, and financial close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Understanding of SOX compliance and internal control requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multi‑dimensional teams.

• Monitor and analyze production costs, gross margins, and operational performance, providing recommendations for cost improvements.
• Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analyses for management to support strategic decision‑making.
• Maintain compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls related to inventory, costing, and manufacturing transactions.
